It saddens me...

I watch you struggling through your life and
a peice inside of me wants to cry as I watch your pain,
a little slice dies each time when you won't let me inside.
A friend til the end seems to be something you dont know
that when I say forever I mean till the power on high does
come to take us from this world to something new.
All senses put forth into an effort to fight the shaodows
humanity likes to leave hiding in the soul and minds.

Won't you let me be the light in the dark?
Won't you please let me be the wind beneath your wings?
Won't you let me hold you tight and remind you
that everything will be alright just for tonight?

I just want to help make things right,
take the pain from those lovely windows of the soul.
Yet you just seem to keep wanting to hide from me
chipping at the little sanity the world let me keep.
Please cant you just give in for once and
release those walls you have installed.....
